How is it? I recently got done w Mistborn and am conflicted about what series to start next. I own most of the dark tower and have been on a King binge so that might be the rational choice but The first law and SA have been v tempting ngl

I didn’t like Mistborn as much as I like Stormlight. This is probably Sanderson’s best work. The First Law is excellent too, the writing is far superior. But the plot is definitely better and more on the “epic” side for SA. Mistborn I feel was way too Young Adult, SA is closer to epic or high fantasy.

Not a fan of SK anymore haha so I didn’t find the dark tower series okay at the time but it is nothing I’d revisit soon or ever.

I feel you, mistborn had that strong YA vibe going on which was often offputting, loved the series regardless though

Will probably start the first law pehlay since it's complete and the praise is unparalleled. Thank you sir
