"Your father, like you, was a tortured soul" (Hosseini 303), will he be able to use that guilt he did to create good? Just like baba or will he continue to have a tortured soul. Sohrab continues that loyalty his father had for Amir, even when he has fallen asleep Sohrab continues to be next to his side. I think this is Amir's chance to redeem himself and do good, by taking care of the only thing left of his brother.

It's a gory scene, having people massacred in the midst of a soccer game where they are viewed by the public eye. It's sad thinking about all of the things that can have possibly happen to Sohrab while he's with this man, if this man is willing to kill someone with rocks in a soccer game, imagine the things that he can so to Sohrab. Having come home to a broken city, broken childhood.

"There is a way to be good again, he'd said" (Hosseini 226), That pain of destroying Hassan's life has carried on with him as he goes off and lives a new life in America. Amir wants to end this cycle, he wants to speak what's boiling inside. It's tough for him because of the way he will be viewed but he cannot just go on with this secret. "A way to end the cycle" (Hosseini 227), it's what he has to do.
