Done. It was captivating through the last word.

Wow. What a ride this has been. The moment you think it lets up, it goes all the harder. Honestly, most authors would have written this story in two books, using a lot more words and a slower pace. But that would kill the momentum this story brings. HUGE props to the editor.

Again, I hate sand worlds, but Herbert is making this world really intriguing and perilous, at least for now.

Deeply deeply loving book. Super impressed at how epic this fantasy book is, especially for the 60s. It's better (and yet less trope-ish) than many epic fantasy books today. (For example, I'm enjoying this more than the Red Sister series and I really liked that one.)
Also, Paul's reaction/response when he awakens is unique and PERFECT. So far, it's my favorite part.

I am *REALLY* enjoying this book. And I hate sand worlds. It's so easy why it won the Hugo.
