a. maybe it's because i was expecting it but i just really didn't feel anything for any of the deaths and tragedies that happened in this book.

b. this definitely felt like a filler book to me. i would say it should've been the last half of phoenix and first half of hallows but if phoenix was any longer i might have set it alight.

c. overall, enjoyable. starting to get darker now.

I gotta say, I really like Fred as a character. It feels like he has more lines than George so that might be why but he seems so much more compassionate than his brother and his interactions with Hermione show that. Maybe it's just me.

Not gonna lie, I preferred the non-Harry chapters over the Harry chapter. No angsty teenage tantrums in sight. Pure bliss. The first two chapters really built the world up better than Harry just falling asleep against a window, pretending he's in a music video.
