Fanna is finished
This ended so surprisingly. I did not expect this. All I wanted was for Noam and Dara to walk into the sunset and live happily ever after, but I guess the need for a better world always takes over.

He did not just [redacted]. Oh my, this has just gone boom in ten minutes. Thank God I have an eARC of the sequel waiting for me.

I can't believe he just said yes to this. Such manipulation is so sad. Anyway, I really appreciate the conversations around health insurance (or the extensive limitations of it) I've read a few chapters ago.

Why have I started listening to it even more slowly? Do I not know I should get done with it and get started on the eARC of The Electric Heir? Should I keep devouring the angsty relationship of Dara and Naom or should I be responsible and read it within the set dates according to what I had fucking decided when setting up the TBR? Hard choice to make.

I wasn't lying when I said I'm not gay. Bisexual isn't gay. Uff, just the dialogue I wanted. Lehrer is continuing his support so great, he better keep doing that. And I actually like Ames (Carter); her personality really...appeals to me. Of course, Dara is perfect.

If you just act like you belong, no one can tell you don't. Explaining magic with science is a first and I honestly appreciate it so much as a STEM woman. Also, the mystery around Leherer is beginning to interest me even more.

This theme of segmentation, especially on the basis of immigration, that the story hints at when the protagonist (who is a son of undocumented immigrants) exhales a breath of relief when an authoritarian panel doesn't ask for papers to prove he is born here, is SO GOOD.

I think reading this is better than listening to it.

It's been a while since I've decided to listen to an audiobook on a speed lower than 2x. This one is written so well, I want to hear each sentence clearly.
