Just got inside the gates of Moria, with the doors shut, and sitting down to catch breach and have a bit to eat. Rather surreal listening to the storm, pursuit, etc. while wrapping Christmas gifts. :-)

That's a guesstimate since I'm listening. Ok, I have just listened to the first two chapters and Rob Inglis is so much better at getting the voices right for this book than The Hobbit. What a relief. Frodo and Sam have agreed to the mission. Gandalf delivered the line I may love above all others about not being quick to deal out death if you can't give life. I didn't recall it being so early in the book.
