A cliffhanger ending to one of the better written books in this series to date. Mr. Riggs seems to have found his "groove" with The Map of Days as exhibited by the improved plot lines, character development( although I thought he made Jacob, the MC, seem quite immature at times) and the perils all peculiars must withstand.
The introduction of a new, extremely gifted peculiar was a nice touch. Awaiting the 5 book.

Things are not going as planned for Jacob and his crew.

Things are not going well for Jacob and the other peculiars with him on a mission that appears exposed to wrights. Wow!

The peculiar's mission becomes more difficult and dangerous. And Miss Peregrine is hell bent on finding Jacob his 4 other travelers to bring them home.

The danger is mounting for MC Jacob and the other peculiars on another mission from "H". This time to save a peculiar child in NYC!

And the peculiars mission becomes more dangerous.

A dangerous mission has begun for 4 peculiars.

Very, very interesting. More character development in this book and a great plot.
