We learn Xerox’s dad was a peasant magic Knight like Asta who was killed by a Comrade! Hence his disdain for royals... Xerx reveals his most powerful spell, a circle on his body... Langris resists but Asta can finally use his dark form and takes him out!

Chap 125 - WOW, Mimosa and her brother are so adorable here talking about peasants and she bothered to see that the thief was stealing food for a sister... Asta is so pumped they worked together but Xerx criticized the other team but had to concede Asta won on the team work issue!

Thru 124 - Asta actually works with Xerx the jerk and holds off Magna and his mini fireballs after they work together to take out little miss’s brother the narcissist. It’s pretty neat and the art is so damn good! He’s always mixing it up and framing things differently and keeping it fresh.

Hahaha Asta tried to get his partner to work with him for the next matchup but when he wouldn’t he blew away ALL the magic on the field! Including the guy’s traps! Heeee
