Finally picked this up again. It's going sloooow. And apparently, I should have read the side stories (which were not free!) to be fully in on the events. Pffff...

Mel Finally! I'm at the party at the Carew Towers. Rachel just talked to Trent (which was fun like always) and now she's going to do the spell to bring Pierce (bah) back.

Mel They just fit! And Al and Jenks' little comments all seem to be pointing at it too.
That bit in the elavator was hilarious :)

Mel I think she was definitely (also?) rooting for Pierce in this book. Since Ford first tells Rachel that Pierce loves and her and then says: “It would explain your troubled history with men. You saw what you wanted at eighteen, and no one now is measuring up.”
I don't think so! Pooh!

Mel He doesn't feel like Rachel's equal. Not yet anyway. I like Al better as a second choice than I do Pierce (and I wasn't in love with Marshall either; too nice).
Trent all the way! I'm almost done.

Mel Done! I started BMS. I like the first chapter already, with Al and Newt and Rachel's thank you to Al. I heard there's more Trent in here so this has to be entertaining.

I need to write my review but my rating of WWBC won't be high. I'm thinking 2 stars. So very little happened, the Kisten's killer thing was very anticlimactic and Rachel got on my nerves again despite seeming to better herself last book. I thought she finally figured out that her life is what she makes of it, that she has a day in what happens to her. Now she was back to externalizing, making stupid decisions and being really self centered in the process.
And I didn't understand the shunning and the fact that she had let Marshall down. The shunning wasn't based in anything new she did. It was an accumulation of things plus the Mia thing which happened before she went kissy kissy with Marshall. So him bowing out over her not keeping a promise? What?
Anyway, the Trent moments saved the book. Plus Al. Pierce annoys me.
