"Stop smelling the robot boy"

Sometimes I forget that this is not just a sci Fi novel, but a YA romance. And then back to back sequences about how hot people are clears that up.

The plot seems to be coming along nicely. I'd like a bit more on the mechs, but I sense that's coming. Is it premature to speculate on Noemi's parentage and the reason mech technology stagnated?

It's good to have some light reading. The premise reminds me a lot of Saga.
