I've read the whole first chapter (which is -GASP- six pages!) and
I. Am more ready for this. Than I have ever been. For anything. Ever.
According to my Dresdenite buddy (looking at you, Liz) this isn't the best in the series, and that's fine. Whatever contributes to the mythos of Harry Dresden, i'm for damn sure reading it.
