I"VE READ TWO DAMN PAGES> WHAT> SHE WHAT?!?!

I'm having to take another break from this book because it is so detailed but what the fuck. There's so many side plots but they are all relevant to the story and all the twists and turns got me sitting here wondering whats next and what the heck??? Like what???? How???? I'm gobsmacked . I'm stunned. I"m shook. I need a minute...

Taking a small break from reading this to digest what's happened so far and then when I come back to it I will reread the last chapter and continue. This book has a very extensive universe, which I find fascinating. Everything from the technology systems to the government, rich and poor- missing persons, characters private struggles- there is so much detail in every page. I can't just sit and block read this one.

Damn these characters have interesting arcs. I'm able to keep up with it all too which is interesting.

Something I want to talk about too is the stylistic choice of chapters. So if we are moving through time, there is a empty page. If we are continuing chapters from one scene to the next, it just flows, and the new chapter starts on a new page. I like how this is done. It isn't always wrote out as (oh so this long passes) which I find fascinating.

Okay. The world building is brilliant. The system that the world is set up to be built in is absolutely stunning. This book needs to either be on your to be read, or on your radar, because it's independently published and seriously deserves more love.

It has been so long since I had a book which is so clean and so crisp but alsonweirdly lightweight for how thick this one is. That fresh print smell beats waterstones equivalent by a mile. The layout of the page and it being slightly bigger than most paperbacks I've read. It's a paperback that's the size of a hardback and I'm here for it. I'm so excited for this one.
