“You!” I realized he had a small tissue box in his hand. “Were you going to attack someone with that?”
He looked at the box and quickly dropped it. “I grabbed what I could, you were freaked out, so I thought someone was in here.”
“Well, thank God you’ll have some two-ply when I die.”

“You had the most loving household growing up, and it was the home of a mobster.” He smiled as if it were the funniest thing. “Rush and I had law-abiding fathers…well, at least to the outside world, they were. Mine was a police chief and his was the namesake of a prestigious university. Both pieces of shit.”

While we were still embracing, Snow decided to talk. “I wish I could say I was here to go shopping but, my dear Eight, we have ourselves a bit of a situation.” He smiled, like a parent was about to tell you that summer school was in your future.
