Beginning to feel slightly repetitive at times as Carl and Donut grind their levels up, but I’m still hooked. Finding the group of people opens up some interesting situations and moral dilemmas.

Beautifully written. Large cast of characters all being fledged out nicely. The prose is tremendous and makes me feel like I’m there. It brings me the emotions of a family dinner when they’re eating diner etc.

Like crack! Can’t get enough. The book sets up many very short promises and rewards that give a feeling of progress as well as the actual progression fantasy taking place with the characters. The writing itself is not perfect but I’m willing to look past that for a story this compelling.

Holy shit, we just started and we’re already stuck in the freezing wilderness all winter! I find myself asking how this can get any worse and I’m sure I’ll have my answer soon enough.

The book picked up substantially around page 100. I almost DNF’d but now I’m glad I didn’t. The plot has absorbed me.

The opening scene introduced me to how dangerous ice can really be. The character of Shackleton is coming together nicely and we’ve only just begun.

Not loving the book too much yet however it is a very easy read and the pages blow by. Most of Pratchet’s humor isn’t hitting me so far.

The mystery is picking up. Getting more mysterious. Does 16 know piranesi from outside of the house?

Wow! The mystery, the imagery, the wonder! This book is shaping up to be one of my favorites.

Action packed! Characters are developing beautifully and I’m massively invested in all 3 of the main story lines.

Starts off slow but the tension starts really building after 40 pages or so. The emotion that the adult is feeling about his son feels real and strong.

Loving the book so far. It’s funny and the characters are very interesting and relatable.

Boom! The first good scene! Almost makes me want to read book two but then the next chapter it’s back to walking around the woods…

Slow. Slow. Slow. Finally picking up slightly but I can’t do any more walking in the woods.

The Prologue was a bit of a slog but the reading becomes much more manageable once the actual chapters begin. I’m excited to read more.

Very violent and over whelming from the start, but the author has planted so many seeds that I can’t stop. What is the wasp factory? What’s up with his brother? I’m in.
