The reminders about the character’s traits that are very obvious and should be remembered is slightly annoying at the beginning but we quickly move past that. The story is cranking again and new strings are presenting themselves that this book will have to tie. I’m in.

The writing ain’t perfect. It’s a bit dry but the story is compelling and I want to know what happens to these guys. Some of the journal entries from the sailors are extremely well written and I’m curious if any of the best writers survive.
