So far this book is well written and paced. I can't wait to get some extended reading time so I can really get going.

I am not liking this foreshadowing! Please all the good people in this story stay home with doors locked and eat broccoli and rice until the bad goes away...please!

I can't stop reading this book! The real-life issues this family faces alone has me engrossed, and knowing that something is coming to resolve the current situations has me amped up. There's no doubt I will finish this book today (it's actually 528 pages).

This is my first OSC book, and I have to say that so far I'm impressed. Nice writing style and excellent handling of family dialogue. I also love the technological time capsule - thousand dollar Ataris, Atari vs Commodore 64 vs Apple, trying to write software that will entice users to actually buy computers, CES circa 1983. Really loving it.

OBOB #14! This looks pretty cool. It's an epistolary novel about a young girl who will be part of a group that will be the first black entrants to a formerly all-white school in 1963.

Holy mackarel, OBOB book number 12. I might actually make it through all 16.
