My first Nicholson book...about damn time!

Really enjoying this so far. The first story is a nice nod to Mary Shelley, and the subsequent longer stories and shorter blasts are great fun.

Plenty of lecherous narration so far as expected from Mr. Laymon. The dude cracks me up.

Man, it's been years since I read a Tom Robbins book.

Ah, I finally made it to some Valancourt goodness.

These new developments are amazing. This story has really progressed beyond the cover synopsis.

And onto part 4. This is an excellent horror story.

I'm 22% done with Dead Sea: Holy crap. I thought this would be a slow journey into madness, but I've been vaulted into insanity right off the bat with no slowing in sight. I can't imagine where this is going, as the current situation is what I was envisioning as the end game.

I've been meaning to read this for quite some time, and I'm finally on it thanks to a group read.

Quite the page-turner so far.

I love how the details of the previous books are being woven in to the current narrative. I was needing a bit of a refresher. Cara Lindstrom has to be one of the most compelling characters...

In the home stretch now, and all I've wanted to do all weekend is hide away and read. No such luck, but today it the day.

Holy crap, these last 150 pages...

This book is just getting better and better. It even makes reading about papal history interesting.

I've only read the first two chapters so far. I'm enjoying being back in Maycomb County. I have a feeling I'll end up enjoying this book more as an insight into Harper Lee's writing then a sequel, but this is a lot of fun.

Really enjoying this one.
