I'm really digging the start to this one.

Just what in the holy blue blazes of hell am I reading here!?

I just finished Disappearance at Devil's Rock, and who should I find writing the introduction? None other than Paul Tremblay. That made for a nice segue, and a devilishly fun coincidence.

The sibling relationship from the view of the younger child always hits me where it counts, and Paul Tremblay is nailing it.

I started this book over the 4th of July weekend because I'm a total nerd, and this was languishing in my owned-but-not-read pile. Smith Henderson is an author that thinks it's cool to use fragmentary sentences and end questions with periods (at least when denoting interior monologue). This is an interesting story so far, and I'm loving the Montana verisimilitude since I lived in Missoula for 3 years.

OBOB 2017 book #4! Hoping to get a nice start on this 16 book set and be ready to start studying with our team this fall.

Sometimes Holly makes me want to stay at home and watch movies on my iPad all day.

The ballad of Frankie and Sammy the Firetruck tears me up.

I'm rereading this in preparation for End of Watch. About a third of the way through, and I'm wondering what my problem was during my first read. Enjoying this a lot more the second time around. After loving Finders Keepers, this reread is getting me stoked for End of Watch.

Typical Lansdale greatness so far, and Phil Gigante is killing the audio.
