Bought this for my son, but how can I resist?

Finally have all three books...I love this slick bit of world-building and a Santa that not only represents the good but the badass as well.

I've been saving this...

So interested to see where this is going...

Quite interesting so far.

So far I'm enjoying this one more than the first. I think I get it a little more now that I've read the first book and I'm over the differences from the classic movie.

Things are starting to get a bit hairy now.

Love the writing, imagery, setting, and characters, but feeling the plot to be a bit slow at this point.

I'm blown away so far by Jonathan Maberry's prose - poetic, dark, and thrilling. Talk about pitch perfect. I'm also constructing a playlist of songs quoted and mentioned in the text. Some great songs, blues and otherwise. Favorite so far is Black Ghost Blues by Lightning Hopkins. I gotta say, it really adds to the credibility of the story when an author has good taste in music.

I need the world to go away so I can do nothing but read this book! Absolutely loving this, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great haunted house/paranormal investigation read.

Oh hell yeah, this book is awesome. I think Roy may have a worthy third to The Haunting of Hill House and Hell House here.

The best part of noir is often the humor, and that is the case here as I've already had a few laugh-out-loud moments. The the narrator, Steve Rimpici, is amazing. Imaginative plot, smooth writing, and incredible voice narration are making Braineater Jones a blast.

So far an incredible collection.

Must finish...due back today...

Actually, this story is so addictive I think I'll easily finish this afternoon.
