Very little duplication between this and the 75 Years compilation — and *this* time complete issues are included; the previous book did a lot of a bridging.

Restarted this in ebook form, though I expect I’ll switch back to audiobook soon.

This sets the tone for the endgame right away— this is into Frank Herbert territory (God Emperor Of Dune) after the mash-up Heinlein/Niven of the first two trilogies.

I finally started this after having it for decades. I might not finish it. For a thriller it’s a turgid exercise in overwriting, full of undigested research and expositioning.

Good god this is a slog….

Ended up restarting it.

The science of the cat and all that...not a hat in sight.

Just a bit annoyed that the non-Aparo covers are excluded, which results in the uncomfortable feel of reading cover-stripped comics....

Dear god, this is hard to get through, especially in the Audible Edition with Luke Daniels *really* manic....
