‘Icebreaking, You don’t know each other, I don’t know you. Talk about sex, and everyone’s interested and talking. One way to freedom of expression is through freedom of physicality. Break through that barrier and you open channels for free exchange of ideas and exchange of respect. Together, we have to master that to improve our creativity.’

The thing that struck him was the way that Jack had no attitude. He knew what Cam was here for, he knew the set-up, but he didn’t disapprove. Whatever it was with Jack, he was not judgmental, which boosted Cam’s confidence for the coming week. It reinforced to him that this week was his. He could do what he wanted & no-one would or could question him. It was as if he had stepped into his own novel.

Brilliant!

It was the teaching element of the week ahead that appealed to Cam. He wanted to mentor. He wanted to make a difference to the boys’ lives. He wanted to enable them to understand themselves. Sex would play a big part in that.

This one definitely has the strong potential to severely hinder, possible annihilate, my work efforts over the next couple of days! I think I've fallen in love with Jackson Marsh!

It was Cam’s story come to life. He was driving to a house as wild as in the book, to take in four young men and teach them. In another diversion from the book, his boys would be learning and wouldn’t just be sexual playthings. Sure, he had plenty of fun planned, but it had to have something to do with developing his students, teaching them the ways of words and other wonders; friendship, loyalty, sex.

It's been on my TBR forever!

Daniel never was the kind of person to offer white lies. People called him direct and blunt and an asshole. But was he really an asshole just for being honest? The insults that they directed at him were a reflection of their inability to handle the harsh truth. He wasn’t a psychopath, though. He was like that because he lacked the patience to dance around the rim in order to avoid hurting people’s feelings.

‘You’re part of the house, Jasper. Part of the family. In fact…’ Hoping it wasn’t too familiar, he stroked Jasper’s hair & the young man made no attempt to pull away. ‘I’d say you’re what Fecker would call ourmalenky brat.’
‘Huh?’
‘Yeah, I know, but if I’m a potato ('Tata' which means 'Daddy'), you can be a brat.’ James smiled warmly to show it wasn’t an insult. ‘It means little brother.’

SO excited to get back to this series ... it's been a minute! 😂 I am absolutely, utterly obsessed with these boys ... Silas/Banyak, Andrej/Fecker, Archer/Lord Clearwater, Tommy/Thomas, Jimmy/James, Jake, Jasper, and all the others! 🥴 Let's go, guys! 😍

“Magic?”

“I saw stars, Patrick. Not just bursts of light behind my eyelids. Actual stars. Galaxies, possibly nebulas. Supernova, even.” Then I considered that. “Okay, well, no. Maybe not a supernova. But we can have round two after we shower, maybe take a walk and have dinner, and you can reach supernova then.”

“Round two. Make you see stars again. Make it a supernova. Soooo, no pressure then.”

“You didn’t hurt me at all. What we did, what you did to me, was the best love-making of my life. And that’s what it was. It wasn’t just sex.” How could he doubt his ability in bed? After what he let me experience. I kissed him, soft and sweet. “You took me to places I’ve never been. I saw stars, Patrick. You put my pleasure before your own. You were very, very thorough, so don’t ever doubt your ability.”

“Patrick. I need you.”

Then he curled his fingers inside me and touched me where no one had ever touched me. I didn’t need my grandfather’s telescope. I didn’t need to look skyward, to be outside or surrounded by night. I saw the stars anyway. He did it again and again, right there, in that perfect spot, until I soared amongst the stars.

Although I know it has a happy ending, this true story is absolutely gutting me! 😩 The 9/10 year telling what he went through ... and the effect on his parents and 7 year old brother ... 😭😭😭!!!
