I do hate formulaic writing. Is there an outline that writers use to write these Christmas romance stories? Start with a couple that NEVER in any world/alternate reality would actually be a couple, then make one be an idiot, not check a weather report before traveling, shocked to discover there's a snowstorm in Northeast US ... AT CHRISTMAS ... delaying his attempts to get home to Toronto, etc. ...

Yes, I, Nicky James, wrote this book. It is full of tooth-decaying fluff and oozes sugary sweetness everywhere. It might make you barf rainbows and shit butterflies if you read it. You’ve been warned. I have handed in my angst card since I no longer feel I deserve to possess it. My title of Cry-Whisperer has been withdrawn. Sometimes it’s easier to just face a complicated situation head on with all the facts in mind. If I’m here, and I look like Josh, it means the man losing his shit in front of the bathroom mirror right now… is Josh. In my body.

This is not real life. Something like this doesn’t happen. Two people can’t switch bodies. We’re not in a fucking teen comedy for fucking fuck’s sake!

To have him all to myself, I needed to ruin what he had right now. Foxyn wasn’t the kind of guy to be tied down by anyone, but he currently had three fuck buddies on his roster. They needed to go and any others frothing at the mouth to get to what was mine. Killing them would be the easiest route. Death was something I was accustomed to now. Blood and screams had become somewhat of a hobby of mine.

This novella is for those of us who secretly enjoyed the attention of our bullies. There is no harm in fantasizing about having them. It’s a twisted love story that will have you questioning what love is. Expect unrealistic love and obsession. These boys aren’t saints and never will be.
