Is there a trope called “every character is injured”?

This is different from McDaniel's older books but no less enjoyable.

I might DNF even though I really like the writing style. The plot is very disturbing.

Reading this one for school and I'm hooked already.

Absolutely loving how nerdy it is but having a difficult time swallowing the messages this book has about women in engineering considering that I am a woman in engineering.

I've barely picked up a book in the past week. I think this is the longest I've gone without actually reading in *counts fingers* twelve years. :(

This just isn’t holding my attention in the way I’ve come to expect from Janette Oke books.

The narration is so relaxing.

I’m so glad I waited to read this until I watched/read Tolkien’s works because I’m living for the snarky LOTR comments.

Considering that this book is set in the first century, it is incredibly feminist.

There are a lot of little comments scattered throughout that are bothersome.

I am finding this incredibly unrealistic considering that teachers at my school run Christian groups all the time with no issues.
