I didn’t realize that this was a steampunk.

It’s not his fault but the male narrator really sounds like a creeper due to what the MMC thinks. I don’t remember the MMC being like this in the first book.

Everyone has to walk on eggshells around Daily. Noticing her disability and not noticing her disability are both ableist while anything else is a microaggression.

This book is reminding me why I typically no longer read YA contemporary.

I must be reading the wrong books lately because there is way too much instrument abuse happening.
But in all seriousness, if these kids are hoping to go to Juilliard, I can guarantee that they wouldn’t be dropping their instruments on the ground. Give me a break.

As soon as the hold came in from the library, I dropped everything else.
