This book explains why the US is showing such similarities to the russian plutocracy and how it came to be. The incredible concentration of money in a few hands is a permanent threat to democracies. The GOP is wholly owned subsidiary of right wing billionnaires who have a lot in common with the financiers and industrials who supported the nazi regime.

It is obvious that this book is even more relevant than when it was written as one of the two major political parties is definitely showing all the characteristics of having become a fascist organization. Many of their supporters do not care for democracy and believe that power for its sake at all costs is the end goal. Unfortunately the situation has worsened since this book was written.
