It took one whole book and 300 pages of this one for Hua Cheng to finally show up 👏 f i n a l l y!!

Here we go! Red Tower books have been a hit or miss for me. More miss than hit. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll enjoy this one. FBB is one of my most anticipated reads and so far it's pretty good. I like the POVs and the writing but it does read kind of young for an adult book 🤷‍♀️

I'm so clooossseee 😭😭😭 i was too tired last night and couldn't finish. I'll definitely finish this today after work.

I'm going to finish this damned book tonight 😅 I hope anyway.

I put everything down to read this new release!! I'm super excited 😄 it's supposed to be comedic and adorable. I kind of needed something on the lighter / sillier side...

It's good but not as good as books 1 and 2. I'm a little confused, but that might be a personal problem 😅

The 👏 AMOUNT 👏 OF 👏 PLOT 👏 TWISTS. I really wish I could see the way Holly Jackson outlines her stories because, my gosh, they are genius.

It's super intense and I don't know how Holly Jackson does it. The way the mystery builds and unfolds is fantastic so far.

I'm starting to get into this one now.

This book has been sitting on my shelf since it came out in 2021. It's great to be back in this world with these characters. I'm so glad there's a recap! Why don't other books have this? Especially fantasy books that have a lot of characters and plot points that I can never remember.
