damn this book is not great.

this book is kind of weird so far. Vika, MC, is rubbing me the wrong way and the "interludes are not noted on the eARC so it feels like such a sudden change in POV... I'm not hating it but I'm definitely not sure if I like it yet...

Different and good so far.

Reminds me of Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart...

I've only read 23% and Twin Crowns is quickly becoming a 5 star read.

Bah. I'm DNFing this one. Disappointing but it had to be done.

Gaaah... I really liked the other two in the series but Sadie is killing this book for me. I was super excited to read Danny's story but Sadie is just grating on my nerves a bit and Danny is instantly falling for this girl for no reason. I'm pretty sure I'll DNF and just read something else but this sucks.

I put CC2 down for a little while. I've been wanting to read more books on my Kindle and I have a few eARCs I'd like to read as well.

So far, the pacing is soo much better than book one. I know I'm not far into the book but I'm seriously curious about how that prologue chapter is going to come into play later.

I stuck with it. Pace is picking up, story is moving forward instead of dragging, and the friendship of Bryce and Hunt is evolving. I'm definitely picking up on Easter eggs more now than I did during my first read through. I'm debating rereading ACOTAR and finishing my reread of TOG after...

This re-read is torture.
It's sooooo slow.
I think this book might put me in a slump. I know I need to just push through so I can FINALLY read HOSAB but gosh it feels like having cramps.

So I know a few spoilers from not being able to hide from the internet when HOSAB came out so I'm definitely seeing little hints placed around the first book of what's to come. I feel like this second time around has been opening my eyes to what I've missed during my first read.

Alright... I know I tried to do my re-read last month, or so, but I'm doing it now and I'm going to power through this thick info dump of a book! This will be my second time reading CC. The first time wasn't the greatest but I need to read the sequel. Too many spoilers out there and they keep finding me.

Besides being compared to The Secret Garden and Stardust, I'm also seeing little hints of A Series of Unfortunate Events and Morrigan Crow series. This is definitely a middle grade book, maybe younger YA. Olivia is sixteen but her story comes across as young and wonderous... Olivia does not give the impression of a sixteen year old, maybe fourteen...

The book is good, but slow. The flowery writing style is slowing the pace down. I've read her work before but I think Gallant is most flowery book out of them all so far. I don't mind the details but I keep thinking I'm getting through the book but it's only been two pages...

So far, the story reads like A Series of Unfortunate Events mixed with an eerie feeling of someone watching you but you just can't see them. I like Olivia and the illustrations inside the book.

I really wish they would've picked either first person or third person. I'm going to finish this book today but it's been annoying going back and forth between the two writing styles.

A decent read so far. There are two POVs but one is told in the third person and the other is first. It's a little weird but I hope I'll get used to it.

This story is addictive, funny, and might become a 5 star read depending on the end...

Pretty interesting read so far. I am having a little bit of a hard time separating the two POVs but other than that I like the book.

Definitely finishing today! I would have finished this yesterday but my husband and I were having a movie night instead :)

After finishing an eARC that compared itself to the Hunger Games, I couldn't resist the real thing. Like most people, I've reread this book multiple times and it never gets old.

I agree with the Hunger Games comparison and I'm all here for it. The pace has picked up and Koral is like a version of Katniss. I might reread Hunger Games, for the billionth time, afterwards.

I've made it to the 40% mark and I'm giving up. This is too ridiculous for me. The sex talk makes me wince, the "pet" names are over-used, and the one liners Donovan is using is such a turn off. I seriously don't know how Kasey was soooo turned on by him.
