The story is mainly written in letters. Nothing in the summary indicates that so I was not prepared for the amount of emailing and texts. It's not bad so far but I wonder if I would have requested if I knew first hand?....

I'm very curious about this book. It reminds me of Blood and Chocolate from years ago.

Every time Gwyn calls her "students" Baby Witches I keep picturing young kids (12 years old) learning but they are all like nineteen years old. They do act like they are a lot younger too for that age so...

Gwyn was such a fun character to follow in the first book. Now I'm second thinking on how I feel about her in her own story. The quips and humor feels forced and is starting to become grating. I still like Gwyn but maybe she should have stayed a secondary character...

17 chapters in and not much going on. Like there are little things but there's really not much of a plot going on. I think something might happen in a chapter or two at a witch party... I'm just a little disappointed. I'm finding myself skimming the "training sessions" with the younger witches.

I finished Ex Hex in a day and so far I'm liking the sequel. It's not too bad, it's slowly capturing my attention. Sunshine/Grumpy trope is being used.

Definitely going to finish this book today!

Kind of cute so far. I like the normalcy of witches living amongst humans.

So far I'm reminded of Sweet Black Waves and Beasts of the Frozen Sun. Both series I've really enjoyed and highly recommend checking out.

I think this book might kill me in the feels department. It reminds me of when I read Ashley Schumacher's books and both had kind of destroyed me.

I wanted more out of the story, yes it was hot and steamy and the MCs were fun to read about BUT it all felt superficial and the enemies to lovers trope dragged for too long. The miscommunication was honestly stupid and was used to push the plot along and to create a longer book....

I'm at Chapter 10 and I think this book is going to kill me. At the moment, it already feels like a 5 star read. Super bittersweet and creating an air of anxiety and "what the heck is going to happen??"

I think it's hotter when the MCs almost kiss verses just doing it. There is so much sexual tension and anticipation in an almost kiss than going right to it.

Pretty entertaining and fun read. I think I like Hunt the Stars more but I'm still enjoying the book.

Why is Danika at the heart of everything? I might be part of the minority when I say this but Danika was a really shitty friend. Maybe my opinion will change as I continue to read but at this time, towards Bryce, she sucked.

This story is probably the most shallow and selfish book I've ever read and I've read The Betrothed.
