I'm super anxious to find out what went wrong between Poppy and Alex. I'm liking how different Alex is in terms of MMC.

It is time to enter the Emily Henry universe. This is my first book by her and I'm liking it.

I still feel like Cat got everything but the kitchen sink in terms of all of her powers. I know the gods contributed A LOT of what she has but damn.

I think I might be enjoying this one a little more than book two. I liked book two but it had a slower pace. This one feels like things are moving along and the fight is about to begin...

"A.K.A. this..." gets used a lot and I'm only on Chapter 5. I like Hallie and that she doesn't just go with the flow and hope she wins as mayor. She's actively trying and reading up where she can. Not sure on Fitz yet.

I'm liking the book so far. Not sure on how I feel about Natasha just yet and I'm pretty sure Braxton is going to be a d*ck later and betray Natasha.

From my understanding of other reviews this is only a snippet of the book. The book comes out in 2023. I'm hoping that for those who got the eARC will be able to read more later on.

Almost finished and I have no idea if this is a stand-alone or if it'll have a sequel. I really like the dark tones and the mystery, the walking dead, and Anora's character development.

Back and forth POV between Anora and Shy. The book is darker than I thought it would be and I'm all for darkness so this is great. Anora can see dead people and Shy has his own secrets (not saying just in case it's spoilery)

I just realized this book is almost like a weird version of Pokemon but in a fantasy world. There are so many creatures and honesty it also reminds me of the Fantastic Beasts movie but with more.

I have no idea how old these characters are. Their personalities come across as Upper YA, so maybe 20-22 but then I read someone else's review saying they are more like 25-30. Their ages haven't been mentioned yet. Not a negative, just a little weird. For now I'm picturing maybe 23-25...

Finished! I'm still not sure what to think. I don't like Karina. I don't think I'll continue the series. The inner monologs drone on and on. It could have been a few chapters shorter with how much filler there is. I like Kael's character... I do feel like nothing happened and I don't know if that's because it's a trilogy. I don't think this needed to be a trilogy.

I don't think I actually like this book. I keep skimming Karina's inner monologs and her back story. Kael is interesting because he is so secretive so I'm super curious about his past but I don't care for Karina very much. I'm sticking around for Kael, otherwise I think I would have DNFd a few chapters ago.

Just finished the book. After that slight slow pace towards the end, things wrapped up and I liked how it ended. I did however realize that I don't like the parents. I'm pretty mad at them.

I seriously hate the parents. I get why you left but really??? You left them. I wouldn't be as forgiving as the MCs.

At about 60-70% the pacing slows down quite a bit. The reveal(s) came out at about 65% and now I'm wondering how this book will wrap up and what other revelations will come about. So much happened, still happening, but for some reason the pace is starting to slog.

If you've read Small Favors by Erin A Craig, you will love this book. Same with almost any of Shea Earnshaw YA books.

I feel like this book and the show Euphoria have the same vibes. Not the same content but just the emotions you get while watching the show.
