Nope. I'm done. Literally just porn. No plot. If you're feeling like a "good time" give this a try but if you're wanting an actual story... avoid this book. Huge disappointment.

I don't think I'm enjoying this book. I feel like I'm losing brain cells as I keep reading. I'm trying but it's super repetitive. The constant "oh he's a bad vampire but I'm horny and want his dick but oh no he's evil and I shouldn't but I want it blahblahblah"... ugh.

well uh we're just going right into it now are we? from what the reviews i've read so far this is supposed to be 90% smut and 10% maybe plot.

I think I had too high expectations for this one. I thought the "enemies" part would be longer than the "lovers" section. I kind of wanted more tension but got more of an instant attraction. The story isn't bad at all and I like the lore a lot but right now it feels like an average read.

Not bad so far. I feel like I can see where this is going but I hope the author surprises me instead.

Well that was a plot twist. Just finished the book and I really liked it! Seriously need the second book after that cliffhanger.

A Broken Blade is like skipping to Heir of Fire by Sarah J Maas. Enemies to lovers, a fantasy world with Fae, Elves, Halflings, Mortals all in a war involving magic.

Decided to put this one down for now. I'm pretty sure I'll continue reading later but I'm not feeling the vibe at the moment.

I'm disappointed. I know I'm only 15% into the book but I'm already at chapter six out of twenty four and not much is going on. The attraction is instant and I'm confused (though that might be my own fault cause I've been skimming a little)...

I haven't been in a huge fantasy mood lately so we shall see how this goes. I did like the first book so I'm hoping this one is good.

and now I'm tearing up, at work. Gosh this book. At first it didn't pull me in but about 100 pages in is when it caught my attention.
