I have never once read a book by CoHo that the male love interest had ended up being a decent guy.
So whether Jeremy is behind this all while playing the card of "nice innocent husband", or they're this crazy-ass family faking this shit so they can have a go on Lowen. Also the way she's forcing me to focus on Verity is shady af.

I'm not sure how to say this but, if you read my personal diaries, you probably won't be able to tell it apart from Jude's POVs. Our state of mind is almost (brutally) equal and exact to the point that you may even find the same kind of words and sentences in there. I had too many moments of "wait, I once described what I was going through the exact same way" it's becoming scary.
Unnecessary but essential information

Just finished chapter 4 and now I'm wondering what if she killed her children so she could have Jeremy all for herself?!
I think I might need therapy.

Now, who tf gave JB the fucking audacity to call someone else's insecurities "groundless"?? Who the fuck do you think you are?? He fucking told u he was not comfortable and yet u did what u wanted to and instead of apologizing afterwards, you gaslighted him and called his insecurities "groundless" and how he needed to "get over it". I don't give a fuck what happens next, JB died for me the moment he said those words.

I don't...like...Jeremy...but it would be such a cliche if he's somehow involved with any of this, so I guess he's just a sad guy.

Okay so both Jude and I are(were) law students.
He learned about "right" and "wrong" and "fair is never an answer"

The thing about broken people is that sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you can't help them. Sometimes they are beyond saving.
I'm not saying Jude's not worth a shot, but I wish Willem would know that it's not really he's fault Jude's not healing.
I would also like to see Willem try harder. but not because it's his "Responsibility". You're not responsible for anyone's personal demons, son.
