Dead Men Tell No Tales:
Easily the most interesting short story so far and probably the most intriguing short story I have ever read. A fascinating exploration of death and mourning along with the morbidity of being buried alive.

A Flash in the Pan:
Another skip. I'm losing interest in picking up the book overall, not so much to do with this particular story

Coqueville on the Spree:
A skip

The Way People Die:
This was a little more interesting since it was about exploring the effects of death on the people left behind. But much like the previous stories, I don't think I'll remember them tomorrow

I don't care

The Attack on the Mill

Was there a deeper message I'm missing? This was predictable and I feel like I wasted my time

Big Michu:
So he peaked in high school? This was meh

The Story of a Madman:
This was very unhinged but I wish it was longer and better developed because it fell into telling instead of creating a creepy and eerie atmosphere and characters

Death by Advertising:
A very on the nose critique of capitalism and consumerism, but I suppose since this story is from the 1870s it was progressive for its time.

Rentafoil:
This one was more provocative and perceptive. There's a lot to be discussed about the value of women, people as objects, commodifying human beings and the perception of beauty.

The Girl Who Loves Me:
There was a whole lot of words and nothing happened
