Thru chap 70 - Yona and company see thru the Fire leader’s plan and work out they are heading to the capital. Suwon already saw thru and had troops in position but not the 20,000 of the invaders. Pretty interesting Kai invades to get help with his own king...

Thru chap 68 - the old man gives Yun grain after he uses herbs on the old man. They return to the fire lands because a Yona is uneasy about the fire tribe soldiers she sees. We learn Lord Ri Hazara has a deal with Lord Kang Su-jin of the fire tribes. He doesn’t even tell Kang Kyo-ga his older son!!

Chap 64-65 - Yona is more possessive of Hak among these Kai village women than the others... I don’t think she understands what that means... she dwells in the hairpin Su-won gave to her and it makes Hak sad... he thinks of kissing her but then doesn’t saying he promised not to joke like that... I like the romance developments and Yun found his fire tribe grain too!

Chap 63 - they go to the Kai kingdom... Hak has stepped up and made overtures to Yona... she starts to feel nervous herself and gets him to promise “not to joke like that again” I think she just never considered him because he was never sweet to her. Course he’s not that type. Also I agree with Hak if anyone kills Su-won it should be him... it’s their friendship he betrayed more than naive Yona...

Chap 60-61 - a cute story about the 3 when they were young (Yona was 6). They take her to the town and she gets kidnapped. It really shows Hak’s and Su-won’s strengths and how they each admired the other! The mangaka has such a great story style, she doesn’t try to make it equal between them but let’s it arise naturally.

Awww that stranger danger thing was so freakin funny! Hahah I’m still giggling over it!

The cover however is not good... misleading.... I didn’t even know it was a stag’s head until my WP pointed it out to me... and the cover really needs gold foil! It s a story about light after all!! And I loved Jack too. I will read Laura again! Her writing it light, but emotional, no purple prose, but so much showing so gorgeous! She is a debut author to watch.

Yes, I finished in a day... after getting to the 30% mark... I couldn’t stop reading... I loved Ev and Tom... my heart broke for her... I was crying... I didn’t even want to read Phillipa’s part but I was drawn in... what could this half possibly be about and she did it again sucked me in and I was sobbing by the end. In a good and happy way for the siblings.

Okay yeah not a fan of Hura... and they feel no anger about it? He doesn’t? I would ripped her off myself for leaving the kids no food and she does it again on the open water? Hahaha and the 2 previous monster fights were way harder than the final one?! What a joke...

GAH!!!! No this 16 year old has not had sex with dozens of people! Geeze he’s out at sea most of the time... that means he’s been having sex since he was 14... his brother’s age! Well he won’t let that boy go have sex, so why would his parents when they were alive?! I can believe this crap if he were 21 or 23... but not 16, sorry and not with the conflicting treatment.

They get inducted to several groups and it’s all a little boring... I like the mecha parts but not enough battles... actually too slice of life!

Hmmm his time in RAM was incredible! His poor team... I did find the technical bits too technical and dry... it was like reading a manual and I couldn’t retain a whit of it! The battles though were incredible! And meeting the general... woooo weeeee!

Page 90 - WHATTTTTT Mars?! I loved this arc! I love when secondaries come in and play a role in showing us the world... Ladros was modified after Zell left so he didn’t know...

Thru Page 89 - now Fanzell, Domina and Mariella fight! They fight the Diamond warriors who Zell trained! We learn a little of their history with Asta or rather how he gave them hope with his philosophy! And we learn Zell taught Asta too! (He’s an ex military commander!)

Thru page 87 - they battle the lady who is a part of the third eye! She has a salamander Nana and is crazed with hate due to a betrayal by a human from her past... Noelle comes and is almost overcome with doubt but remembers Asta’s belief in her and keeps fighting! The battles are the best... so much happening but you can see what’s going on!

Chap 85 - the queen heals Asta’s arms seeing he has the black grimore... assuming she will be able to retain him for herself! Also seems the diamond peeps teamed up with the Midnight Sun!

Chap 83 - gosh this mangaka makes even just entering. City so damn fun! The cloaks were so funny and we get Asta throwing down with 5e Witch Queen about how poorly she treats her family.. then the diamond kingdom attacks?!

Chap 59 - hahaha I love Tae-Jun’s sidekick he’s so perceptive! Yona gives him the task of protecting the people! They are leaving to find a crop that will grow in the fire lands...

Chap 58 - Tae-jun nurses a soldier to health! Haha Yona sneaks into the town he’s been improving to tell him what a good job he’s done and his men aRe also quite impressed!

Chap 57 - Tae-jun visits with Yona and sees her help an old woman with her house... life is tough for them... their fields are tapped out and they must forage for food... and there aren’t any men to help out, just the elderly. He realizes he’s never thought about what he can do to strengthen the fire tribe...

Chap 56 - Lord Tae-Jun is growing so much... thinking of Yona he brings her food made for him and she shares it with the village and he realizes they are actually hungry! He promises to bring more. GAHHHH I agree with her editor I need a Lord Tae-Jun miniature!

Wow that battle with Noriko was so great! And even the previous battle in his simulation was cool... how he realized the other Mecha was invisible. I’m not sure why others say he whines a ton... so far his BFF died as a pawn to terrorists... he flunked his military exam even though Noriko partnered with him! That’s tough and bound to get you down.
