I enjoyed the story of the dragon queen getting married... poor thing has all of these powerful people telling her what to do and who she should trust... not a good one among them. She is sweetly obedient to her uncle after they talked and she realized he is similar to her beloved father. Her husband seems smarmy to me though... 😣

Chap 81 - setup for the next arc... Saeki brings back the school trip if the students get their grades up to 70%! They do it... but no fighting and run away without identifying the school, if you get in one by accident... Nogami is following Kanon to protect her... Bancho is staying behind at the school... they don’t know what to do on a school trip! Hahaha

Chap 80 - THE BEST CHAPTER SO FAR! Saeki runs into Mafuyu after the wedding... he’s drunk and goes down memory lane with her... they used to reenact breakups, haha she was a soap opera junkie... the wedding reminded him there are boundaries between teachers and students... then he says the student council President is like Peter Pan!?

Chap 79 - as a reward for the thing with the other school Saeki drives Mafuyu and Akki to their hometown during break... they decide to dress Mafuyu as a pretty girl and go on a treasure hunt... they run into her right hand men and it’s all so funny!

Chap 78 - Kento just wanted to be her friend and it got out of control when they ripped her book... then she transferred before he could make it right, then he fell in the with delinquent crowd. When he came to be bancho he happened upon her when he started having trouble but then was jealous to see her have 6 guy friends!! Hahaha but it was Mafuyu’s phone...

Chap 77 - sure enough the bancho is Kento Nogami!! Kanon’s childhood bully who really likes her... Natsuo makes it up to her and realizes he’s fighting strangely. Maybe to make her dream come true?!

Chap 76 - Hayasaka and Yui stay behind to hold off guys after they leave Ayabe in the hut trap... Then Okegawa carries Natsuo so far and stays behind to hold them back... where is Saeki when you need him!?

Chap 75 - they head out to the other school to save Kanon... is it the boy from the past who liked her?! Natsuo wants to go alone but the others insist the public morale club sticks together... so the bancho joins too so he can go!! GAHHHHH so cool!

Chap 74 - we see why Kanon hates boys... she had a pretty naive view of them and when a boy who liked her didn’t show it in an appropriate way she thought he was being mean. Kiyabi was nice to her and showed her she didn’t have to hate boys but made an all girl class for her! Love her grandpa!!

Chap 73 - I love when Bancho comes on the scene... and his fandom is so adorable! Natsuo learns Kanon lost something and goes to help her out... she runs into Bancho who comes along! Pretty cute...

Chap 72 - Saeki helps them answer Kanon’s meet by having Akki pretend to be super bun. She is thrown off when Natsuo is nice to her without asking. Then she realizes she doesn’t have her cell phone or the one she got off Natsuo. The other #chool’s branching is looking for Kanon?!

Chap 71 - Akki and Mafuyu as Natsuo meets Kanon in the alley... she plans on using her phone but Mafuyu hasn’t put in any info and all her friends are the public morale club members. Akki adds his number... they are interrupted by some guys from the opposing school. Then Ayabe the clean freak finds them and admits he knows N is M!

Chap 70 - Miyabi Hanabusa the student council president sends Kanon Nonoguchi against the public morals club... she’s a man hater and believes she does everything better. Mafuyu and Akki go investigate with M in disguise as a pretty Natsuo. She is shocked a man dodges all her attacks!

Wow Langris just goes crazy... the wizard king thinks he may be the unconscious traitor they are trying to reveal... We learn Xerox’s dad was a peasant magic Knight like Asta who was killed by a Comrade! Hence his disdain for royals... Xerx reveals his most powerful spell, a circle on his body... Langris resists but Asta can finally use his dark form and takes him out!

Chap 126-127 - Finnral fights his brother Langris who goes ballistic and nearly kills him... Finn has gotten a new spell (which was so damn funny sending him to the toilet) but it wasn’t enough. Thinking about the past when their fiancée liked Finn for being kind, causes Langris to try to finish off his brother! So Asta and Magna get in the way... even the wizard king is disgusted.l.

Chap 125 - WOW, Mimosa and her brother are so adorable here talking about peasants and she bothered to see that the thief was stealing food for a sister... Asta is so pumped they worked together but Xerx criticized the other team but had to concede Asta won on the team work issue!

Thru 124 - Asta actually works with Xerx the jerk and holds off Magna and his mini fireballs after they work together to take out little miss’s brother the narcissist. It’s pretty neat and the art is so damn good! He’s always mixing it up and framing things differently and keeping it fresh.

Yuno and Noelle won their match against Solid her brother... she’s gotten a lot better!
Hahaha Asta tried to get his partner to work with him for the next matchup but when he wouldn’t he blew away ALL the magic on the field! Including the guy’s traps! Heeee

Finally Riri’s father realizes what his daughter has been trying to do... he banished her from the palace so she can carry on her work... Suwon calls for a 5 clan council because they are going to war with Kai empire!

Judo chews out Suwon who says he froze but next time he’ll cut Hak down... yeah right like you’d win against Hak!? Riri and Yona say goodbye with a lovely meal and vows of friendship. Hak and Yona have a moment... she is worried for him and hopes his wounds will heal... he’s surprised when she hugs him.

it’s pretty heart wrenching... his childhood friend betrayed him... but it also breaks his heart because Yona still loves him. The battles he fights in this small section are more powerful than any other so far!! It was intense!

Chap 91 - Hak works out Su-won is with the princess... he stops the bad guy attacking Yona by taking a dagger in the arm... but he goes after Suwon... he beats the crap out of the one bodyguard but The green dragon stops him and holds him so they can leave since they were allies in this battle...

Chap 89-90 - These are the best volumes... lots of battles with everyone’s skills on display... the tension between Yona and Suwon thick between them... Hak realizing who Won the bodyguard is... the yellow dragon stepping up to protect Yona!

Chap 11 - Reiji fights his brother and learns he went to the side of the Mononoke because he felt Reiji deliberately lagged behind him one step... putting pressure on him. He needed power to out strip Reiji... Jiro meets Amagi who gives Rago an ultimatum to submit or Jiro dies...

Chap 10 - The vest gets stripped off Jiro and suddenly he’s super powerful and rips that Mononoke apart... Rago realizes his power has come back and then some... cause he’s eating aJiro’s vitality! Chickie out smarts her opponent and take a horn... Renji recognizes the sword and the voice...?!

Chap 9 - a group of Mononoke take over a City with a barrier... our three are sent in to take out the barrier, save the humans from those eating them and arrest who they can... they eat petals to keep in contact with their boss thru the girl Mononoke... cool character designs...

Chap 8 - GAAAAAAHHHH best chapter so far... I can see our mangaka finally has some assistants to help out with backgrounds, etc... learning Rago’s background this way was really neat... those poor villagers. They made it out of the spell though and have a face for their enemy...

I started this last night and finished tonight... I loved it... I totally fell for Lincoln and his slow metamorphosis... I adored Beth and Jennifer and their insanely cute friendship... I think I would have read their marked email too! Rainbow Rowell did it again...

Hahaha Beth and Jennifer are so funny.

I felt really preached at... and yet some practices seemed made fun of too?! It was really odd... both girls are charming and open but I wasn’t a fan of the short comic format either.
