Okegawa’s college life strips were funny! The bonus story about the play was okay.

152 - Mafuyu calls and says to contact Saeki and tell him to go back to Saitama and check on the past business etween the two schools. He contacts someone he knew from back then and learns Maki had a sister who died while he was in a fight!

151 - we learn Toko and Maki saw each other as siblings to replace the siblings that weren’t by their side. Then she got to meet her brother and played it cold but was really excited. Then her parents we’re getting a divorce but she was hurt hearing Miyabi didn’t care.

150 - she ingeniously used a diary she faked to get him to leave. So Toko agreed to tell her a story. She desperately wants to meet her older brother and instead runs into Maki as a delinquent... he says her name? Then that it can’t possibly be her? So she drags him to her house!?

149 - Saeki hears of Mafuyu’s kidnapping thru the pigeon’s visit to Yui. He goes as the black dog headed guy and takes her a phone to give her orders and be able to communicate. He says to get stories of a Maki’s youth from Toko. She blurts it out and Toko agrees if Mafuyu chases out Maki for the night.

I’m not sure I like this volume... Mafuyu is taking her kidnapping as if it’s nothing. And no one realizes she’s not really sick. And what the hell is all this with the play? It’s just getting weird at this point.

147-148 - Maki kidnaps Mafuyu using his head patting... locks her in a room of Tokyo’s house. She visits Mafuyu and treats her like a dog which oddly Mafuyu is happy to do. Everyone things Mafuyu is sick. The play is rearranged so Toko and Maki are part of it. Saeki can’t remember the leaders he fought his 3rd year. He doesn’t find a letter from Mafuyu.

Carl tries to cheat, Alderick and Mavis don’t really fight. It’s messed up. She still has to fight one more regardless.

So yeah his gf is dead. I figured. This has gotten s lot better since the first 20%. She has s clue... they like each other.

Finally at 24% we got what this is about! A fight club for powered teens... Sam shows up to find an oddity fighter he can sponsor. He picks Vesper even though she lost her entry into the fight.

It’s over!

She bonds with Sapphira and learns some kids are missing probably due to a bad deal with a ledger.

We meet a bunch of kids who rescue her from her fear freak out. They take her to an abandoned office where they stay.

I bet it’s hard for him... this is exactly what he was planning to do too. He didn’t realize Shooo was feeling the same kind of despair...

42 - Shoya tries so hard to be upbeat around Shoko... he totally is living to be around her. Suddenly she wants to go home alone to study. When her mom and sis get back Yuzuru tells him she wants her camera and to go get it. And gives him keys. He goes in and finds the camera then sees Shoko climb up to the railing of the balcony... realizing what she’s going to do he runs and is able to grab her arm as she falls!!!

He wonders how he can show he changed...

41 - Shoya keeps asking Shoko and Yuzuru out and they go to the movies together then the next day he helps bake their mom a cake! They even go to fireworks together!!

40 - Shoko and Shoya go someplace fun but he’s a little overwrought and it pains Shoko. She didn’t understand what was said so Yuzuru told her later. Shoko told Shoya it was her fault. It’s pretty sad. I wish he could talk to Shoko straight on.

39 - things don’t go smoothly because Nao confronts Miki who insists she’s totally innocent but then she shows her prejudice of Tomohiro touching her so I know it’s all a lie. Everyone gets their feelings hurt and Satoshi punches Shoya. Poor Shoko is horrified.

38 - Miki makes a big deal out of it and talks loudcdo the rest of the class hears. She says Shoya made it up and she never bad mouthed Shoko. He’s planning on avoiding everyone but Nao convinces him to face everyone, cause he’s changed.

37 - Satoshi talks about whoever bullying Shoko making him watch to punch him and Shoya starts to worry he’ll find out about his past... that he is the one who bullied her... he really likes this new group of his... so he confronts Miki...

36 - Tomohiro is really pressuring Shoya and he doesn’t really have room on his plate. He says he’s embarrassed when Tomohiro bribes kids to pretend to be his friend. They don’t talk until the end of school when T holds the meeting at the pond. Shoya realizes it’s been a long time since he’s had someone to argue over pointless things with!

35 - they go back and he meets his same teacher who says he must be a good guy due to the high school being the same one he attended. He starts talking smack about Shoko and Saroshi can’t take it and throws his drink in his face. So they don’t get to shoot there. I admit I totally adore Satoshi too!!

34 - Satoshi agrees to go with Shoko and Shoya to shop before they go see Shoya’s elementary school to see if they’ll allow filming there. Satoshi sees a girl being bullied and steps in telling Shoya later that he used to be the kid left holding the bags. Shoya wanted to tell him about being a bully in the past but couldn’t...

33 - The 3 popular kids take over Tomohiro’s movie. He runs out crying and explains to Shoya who follows that this is the story of their friendship. Shoya explains it was Shoko who made it all happen. He wanted to be different because of her. So Tomoshiro asserts he’s the director.

122 - Momo and Nino run into each other at school since he’s withdrawing and he had mouths In No Hurry saying she’s wasting her time with amateurs. She realizes this is the only platform she has right now to sing.

121 - Haruyoshi explains he waited for them at school a year. At first Yuzu wouldn’t admit he came there due to their promise. But eventually he did and they used songs he composed for Alice. The first time he thought she belonged was right then when she sang that song!!!

20 - they snuck out and went to a concert and that’s where they decided to do their band!!

19 - Haruyoshi explains when he first met Yuzu and how Yuzu inspired his love of music! It’s pretty cute seeing him with his black hair and always saying fabulous, haha.

18 - Haruyoshi says Nino is only barely passable... the magic moments she’s reached in the past not even touchable... she sees Momo at the school and goes all Putin the guitar... H says it’s her best performance yet. Momo and Yuzu meet. Momo says he’ll steal Alice in the future. Yuzu says they’ll show him they aren’t the gimmick.
