83 - Kei is in her rebellious teenage phase so when her brother chides her like a mom she hates it and is mean. But when she sees him struggling she realizes he could be in love and tries to figure out a way to find out who. when their dad gets home he tries to give advice and Kei ends up helping telling him she probably avoids him because she likes him!

82 - Ishigami joins pep squad trying to do new things. It makes him hilariously uncomfortable. He has to get a girl to lend him their uniform to do a cross dressed cheer in. Kaguya says he can and helps him with makeup. It’s so Ishigami! And is quite cute.

81 - Kaguya is freaking out whenever she’s near him. So Ai helps her create a ritual to calm down. When he confronts her about their almost kiss she’s unable to use her ritual so she knocks h8m out because her panic meter is going off.

19 - I’m loving where this is going! The front office summons them because no one is coming to her restaurant... it’s a problem of location and no one knowing it’s there. They meet Byakuya the front office manager ie the money man. He hates Shiro for what he did almost ruining the inn. He’s giving them one more chance. She’s asked to make a box lunch for a famous author! But will he eat it? Loved it ended here.

18 - Aoi meets Sasuke the whirlwind who is a gardener and security when he saves her from an assassin attack. She feeds him and learns he knew her grandfather and they played pranks together. He idolized the man haha he tells the Odanna of the threat to Aoi and he decides they’ll open the restaurant as planned.

17 - Aoi Odanna and Ginji visit Gintengai a huge shopping street. They look like a little family and Aoi learns Ginji uses his different forms to get different things from others haha. The Odanna says being successful is all about having relationships with others. She meets some of the inns vendors and eats chicken tempura!

16 - she makes a bunch of stuffed rice balls that got my mouth watering... her friends are helping with the new restaurant to get it ready. They’re worried about advertising but the budget is limited. And Festival that is coming in a couple months. The Odanna comes to take her to a street with tons of food where she will need to do trade.

She’s a tough one but I enjoy how Jihoon is wearing her down! The goblin dude was neat as was the ghost seeing shaman girl!

The Good Luck Girls surprisingly sucked me in!! I was intrigued by the brutal world these sisters found themselves in and feeling a little sick for what Clementine would be going through. Then it happened and I couldn’t see her reacting any other way... But it was Aster’s POV that really clinched my desire to read this adventure!

I really enjoy Frank’s narrative voice. It’s somehow totally American liberal while also holding the inherent difficulties of being second generation immigrants. I adore his friendship with Q!! It’s definitely a highlight of the story, their friendship. And Brit is a neat girl. That car thing was epic! But I also like Joy and her peekaboo hair!

150 - The lite up people start attacking with different more advanced powers! Wow! What a incredible volume leading up to some of the best battles in the series (surely?! look at their opponents)

149 - uhhh yeah so I guess Licht marked a bunch of people... many of them magic knights and now they are resurrected elves from that original spell.... many of them friends! The lights coming down on the city was super neat... I love the way the setting is usd in the art to show plot things!

148 - hmmm this is fascinating we get the back history of this Licht who isn’t really Licht the elf who was betrayed so long ago by humans... this is his friend who looks like Licht but is in a human body! Very fascinating... sad that his human friends possibly stabbed him in his back... but a reincarnation forbidden spell. Neat!

147 - Yami is so pissed the WK is dying but he accepts the man’s charge to defend the clover kingdom. Yuno and the other Royal Knights find Licht? At the center of a light. They can tell this isn’t human magic. In another skull location Licht inside Vangeance is putting the final stones in the tablet then he’s calling out those who helped him as greedy and uses them in the spell.

146 rest - we skip to Asta who stops theguy from blowing himself up.... he doesn’t understand why we can’t all talk it out. Haha she’s super pissed but his ideals are just like Julius’ own. Love when Asta’s POV comes they so strong.

146 (1st half) - Yami tries to stop Licht from leaving but just misses them. He gets the secretary to get Owen the best healer. The WK is dying though... he feels he has good people in place that will help things change the way he wants.

At first you can barely tell this is a retelling... but the more I read the more I saw it. It’s beautifully subtle!

145 - Julius uses his time magic to stop the light spell that would have killed each person in the clover kingdom... but Licht uses that moment to kill the wizard king... he stabs him right as Rami was getting there. He couldn’t allow the light spell to go thru even though he knew it meant his life in the end.

144 - Julius fights Licht and Licht realizes Julius was put there to defeat him... so he must defeat this guy! Twisted thinking?! We learn Julius has a coverless grimmore and he uses it way above him and it twists. Pretty neat! His secretary sends out an alert to the captains about the battle and Rami heads out there!

143 - oooh we get to see the wizard king fight and learn more about his time magic. Licht has light magic so he’s a match to time and wounds the WK... but things don’t go his way. Licht hates humans... while the WK wants to stop discrimination.

142 - oooh Rami was right about the masked scarred captain (William) leader of the Golden Dawn... he is Licht leader of the Midnight Sun. He goes to the wizard king and makes them decide who he will follow... Rami is left waiting at the Golden Dawn castle...

141 - Love this chapter... Henry has changed the black bull castle into a raging bull! He fights Sally who has enlarged her jelly salamander... but isn’t getting anywhere so Gauche mirrored Grey so she could change into properties to plant them Gordon can use his poison! They successfully work together!!

39 - the emperor passes out punishments and since he wants to forgive and let his brother off lightly he does the same for all. Banishing Kurose from the capital. They go home to Suburu’s tribe. She joins the WDG in his lake. It’s pretty cute. Then he falls asleep and fades into the water?!

38 - Tokoyami goes berserk and starts a miasma to cover Kurose. She grabs Kurose and won’t let him go. He wakes to himself and the other gobs come and help them escape. They have Asahi in the guise of the water priestess seal up the god of darkness with darkness only reining at night. Pretty neat end to this arc.

37 - the WD and her follow them into the darkness realm after she chews out the rebel dude. There the emperor is being choked by his brother but the emperor talks him out of killing him. Then the darkness god admits he’s gotten a lot of chaos from this. They do to see the girl Hino and the god collapses her as the illusion she is. The boy Kurose is crushed.

I’m enjoying this even though the beast part isn’t strong it’s a cute contemporary and Beau is a neat interpretation of Beauty. I love his family and how kind he is and real.

So this guy is a real bully. I wouldn’t have back down. Do your worst! I can’t stand guys like this. It’s hard to read... this is not a sympathetic character.

Yeah I think it’s cool she takes from those who take.
