29 - Komi tries writing out jokes, haha it’s too funny! I can’t help but love when she sparkles and is stunned by common things... I feel the same way and seeing her like that makes me melt. Haha

28 - the ramen shop adventure was funny because Agari figures so prominently in the story. Picking the place and telling them the rules. Obviously Komi is a pro too! She charms the chef without words and scarfs her ramen! Haha the other too were stuffed!

27 - Summer uniforms and we get different reactions to Komi in hers, lol. She noticed! Too cute.

Wow over at 87% and the rest the funny little footnotes. I’m glad everyone realized they can face their greatest fear and left to do so. The realignment of good vs evil was an interesting concept too.

They come to a land of bridges where the water receding brought economic hardship. Then they find the wolf’s people but he decides to leave them. They fly thru the air for a time. A little boring.

The evil overlord quest was longer? Maybe. I loved the “It’s a Vulture of Veracity,” Gamil said, wasting no time being evasive, exactly the sort of behavior I applauded. “As you might have guessed, it has the feature, shall we say, of being able to see precisely those truths we try to deny.”

They stumble into an odd thief vs assassin guild war. That both sides don’t even really take seriously? Then an evil overlord has an actor stage PR events so she can work in the background. Kind of funny?

They rescue a magical princess from a prince who wants to sacrifice her to a demon. I forgot t9 mention the storybook they’ve been using since arriving in Fairyland but they throw it away as they enter the Evil Empire. They also keep getting swords a la King Arthur for completing quests.

GAHHHH I just hate her attitude. For not liking her she’s grown on me. This is certainly a different take on an epic quest fantasy! Loved the lizard that can talk. And the folding boat. And subverting your typical fairy tales.

26 - Komi offers to stop being Tadano’s friend because he was in danger the day before. He says he decides who his friends are. And she says out loud that she wants to be his friend still! Then Yamai comes and half heartedly apologizes to Tadano. And he reveals Komi’s communication disorder. And Komi agrees to be her friend...

25 - Yamai did all this to become Komi’s friend! She hides Tadano in the closet but he keeps banging on the wall and Najimi checks! She brings a knife and tries to threaten everyone but Komi just shakes her head and writes she decides her friends. So funny in a creepy way!

24 - Yamai pressures Najimi to introduce her to Komi. She’s pretty crazy... then asks Komi to share her lunch. Komi nods yes. But Tadano isn’t there!? How will Najimi know what Komi is saying?! Well he’s been kidnapped?! (He’s tied up at least...)

23 - Yamai has a crush on Komi. Like Tadano she’s a ordinary student who loves fashion. She oddly is excited to find on of Komi’s hairs. And works up the courage to say hello to Komi which causes K to tremble. Haha she wears a demon mask to the dog girl and Najimi! Haha

22 - Najimi asks to go over to Komi’s house after school. After an internal struggle she says yes. Her mom is super excited as this never happened before. Najimi tries to catch her and Tadano uncomfortable with each other but it never happens. And he looks thru her photo albums. He sends her a photo her snapped and she asks her mom for a frame for it!

21 - Yadano is back for the athletics part of their fake competition... except Komi totally beats her without trying! Haha

20 - Yadano wants to beat Komi on the physical because she thinks it will make her cooler. Except Komi is better in all 4 categories. Haha

Awww the bonus chapter of a time when Yona was scared before she left the palace and had a Hak protect her in her rooms. So good!

111 - Riri is hurt in the street so goes back to the inn with Riri, there’s an accident on a bridge so the dragons, Hak and Yuno go help! The inn lady Riri is communicating with drugged her and Yona!! Earlier Yak and Yona have a cute moment where she can’t tell him she’s been distracted thinking of him!

110 - Yona stays with Riri and they talk about Suwon. She doesn’t want revenge because she realizes he wanted to protect the country differently than her father. She’d like to get to know him as he is now. Hak though she doesn’t think he can forgive Suwon because he trusted him the most. She gives Hak a lapis Lazuli necklace she bought him and it makes him really happy.

109 - we check in on Suwon who has meetings with the heads of the different tribes. Then we find Zeno needing new clothes. He runs across Lady Riri’s bodyguards who want a Yona and her group to escort their mistress to Sei which is where she insists on going.

108 - that was a neat experience at the original blue dragon village. It had been attacked by bandits and the village used the previous blue dragon as a lure while they carried out the baby and locked them in with the bandits. Sinha allowed him to use his body because he was kind hearted. Yona caused him to pass on.

107 - Sinha found the tomb of the blue dragon where the souls of past blue dragons reside! This is the previous blue dragon who wants to possess Zeno except it won’t work because of his ability... Yona, Hak and Yun find the tomb open and Yona and Hak enter before it closes. Jaeha and Gija are ahead of them.

106 - Sinha and his squirrel found a dragon statue which he cut in half. He comes back to camp and starts acting really aggressive. Yona and Hak go hunting so Yun and the other dragons try to settle him down but he uses his power on them! And even kills Zeno. When Yona gets back Yun is alone and the dragons are gone!!

Okay that was bizarre! Better for it to be a novella than a graphic novel. I didn’t hate the sentiment that depression is a heavy burden that makes you unwelcome with many of your friends. It was odd that the pictures were just variations of head shots! Why wasn’t there more going on?

This is so pithy it’s bizarre! I do love the wolf!

Hmm the princess is quite pithy. I’m not sure what to make of it. Her parents curse her to go on an adventure haha. We’ll see how that turns out. The action described was quite good, it didn’t get boring and was quite easy to visualize.

Weston is a pretty neat kid. He was drawn to Tessa right from hearing her story. And I loved how he had to count in order to keep from bombarding her grandmother with questions 🤣 what will he say to convince her?!

YOU GO GRANDMA! I love that Tessa is a blogger, writer who loves books. SO RELATABLE! I love that she lives with her grandparents who are tough but loving with her. Like gma making her see Weston. I love that her gpa is a pastor, it’s so politically incorrect nowadays to write stories with even religious characters so I love it!

Post-traumatic transient cortical blindness. They said both sides of my brain were damaged and that, with time, I would most likely regain my sight, but they didn’t say for sure. And they didn’t say when.

97 - Emma announces she wants more than to get away to the human world. Since they will be breaking the promise to do so she wants to go to the 7 walls and make a new promise so every child can be free and not food. Of course Minerva’s brother doesn’t want that! And he mentions a brother on the phone at the end?!
