58 - both wake up totally remembering the kiss... on the nose! Hana wants to know what it means but Takane is so desperate for it to be forgotten that she knows he remembers. He feels he was a barbarian and scared her! He visits his grandpa who gives him a gift, chides him for not making his relationship more committed and invites him to a party in his name.

106 - Rossi bringing them the radio makes them able to form a plan but Ray realizes the other 7 men have to die... who other than himself can kill humans? Yup Lucas and Yugo stay behind to do the deed... and they seem to think they’re going to die there...!? This was super exciting and tense. Really without the adults this time they’d be screwed...

105 - Two go ahead to open the door and Andrew drops them down dead. He drops a smoke bomb down and they close the fire door but they’re surrounded and the enemy has no plans to send them back to farms. Emma is freaked and yells their plans to make a new promise. A says that’s more reason they need to be dead. Also all of the supporters are dead... hence his knowledge of the shelter.

104 - Lucas and Rossi get cut off in the secret room while everyone else ends up in the weapons store. They have hidden exits they plan to leave through. But as Lucas moves to join them they learn their fake footage has been found out. So he gets the guy in that room... only to over hear that they already have ALL exits covered!!

103 - they are able to visit the temple and find clues on the ceilings of the towers! They know how to get to the seven walls! But... then Andrew finds them! They get a tiny bit of warning...!

101 - they found it! After some fruitless searching they learned its in the middle of a demon town. It’s been 2 years since their escape now... bandits are said to be hitting the mass cultivation farms. Nigel made them masks, costumes and perfume so they could play demons and investigate inside the demon towns.

101 - Emma has the pendant that the demon chick gave her. She sees a stone carved eye and looking into it she sees a dragon and another little being. He says to come, use the entrance and sees a temple with gold water like goody pond. He also gives them a riddle, it’s nowhere and everywhere. They decide to go home and research this!

100 - talk about a mega chapter... we catch up with Phil who has been parceled out to other homes. He loves the new kids and it cuts him up to see them sent off... and now Andrew has come to “talk” to him! Meanwhile Ray, Emma and the others have reached Cuvitidala! It appears to be... ruins?!

Oh this time they’re taking Gilda and Don plus Violet and. Zach because 4 isn’t enough to guard. The adults will stay behind to protect their base.

99 - Ray asked Hilda and Don to read some books when they left... so now that they are waiting for the supporter they want to move on finding the 7 walls. Some doesn’t make sense but they found a reference to a place and have a location so they’re going to check it out!

98 - they find a secret room with a payphone in it! They call following the directions but no one calls back for 7 days when it was supposed to be 24 hours... until finally someone does and uses Morse code! (Hiding their identity?) we also meet Andrew who is searching for them but only finds dummy places! Ratri wants him to find the missed supporters and the kids and eliminate them!

We end meeting the prince! Who is a recorder too! I think his appearance is supposed to mean something?!

This was a fascinating volume of battles that made the wait well worth it! I was shocked to seethe little rodent was sent by Orca to watch Lykos! What a little traitor?!

52 - Liontari sure has a love hate thing going on with Orca and his sister! Chakuro follows the animal to Lykos. And fights Liontari even hitting him. To the kid with glasses follows Chakuro and hits Liontari in the eye with a shot. Orca comes and takes Lykos who calls out to Chakuro. Ro is down, Shuan is left too.

52 - Liontari sure has a love hate thing going on with Orca and his sister! Chakuro follows the animal to Lykos. And fights Liontari even hitting him. To the kid with glasses follows Chakuro and hits Liontari in the eye with a shot. Orca comes and takes Lykos who calls out to Chakuro. Ro is down, Shuan is left too.

51 - the Nous in the necklace tries to use Ouni’s loved ones to convince him no one wants him around and only Orca will use him properly. He refuses to believe the vision. Orca tries to convince him but he won’t give in... so Orca cause him to collapse, his stalling tactic worked! Ouni too long from the ship is captured.

50 - Shuan insists they return to the unmarked while he backs up Ouni. We get several pages of him realizing he just wants to go home, that he doesn’t want to die any longer! I loved this! He finds Orca and they fight. Orca uses the guns he prepared to wound him badly. Ouni comes and shouts for the commander to stay out... Orcas uses the sand necklace to capture him!

49 - Orca and Ouni fight. Ouni goes all out so when he’s about to win a Orca escapes. Chakuro jumps down and Suou also tries to protect Ouni! He wants them to back off because as Orca tells us he has an unnecessary thing for a weapon, a heart! He doesn’t want to lose them too! Orca prepares for another run in with Ouni!

I’m not sure I like this but it’s totally fascinating. Legoshi is fighting his nature so hard. Louie so desperately wants the power of a carnivore. And a Bill in this volume wants to be what he is... a carnivore.

16 - Louie suddenly comes on stage as the real Adler and stops the Tiger from doing any more damage. the drama club herbivores chew the two out for fighting! The performance was a success but now they must face Louie! Bill still says the two of them are the same but L says nope claw me more stripes and I’ll still be nothing like you!

15 - WOAH! L’s costume is badass! He totally is rageful and wants to take that Tiger out. He punches him and causes the audience to wake up as they fight. The Tiger grabs L and claws his back bad. It’s totally sick! But the Tiger reales L has smelled rabbit blood before... that’s why he knew what it was and he says that makes them the same...!

14 - this is so fascinating... Louie visits for the performance and the Tiger teases that he came to crush him. Louie says it won’t be him but the audience. L notices something is up with the Tiger... turns out he has... rabbit blood for doping! L starts to fight him but realizes he should keep that for the stage!!

13 - turns out Louie’s broken his leg literally!! They break the news to him... well a tiger does quite bluntly! So Louie casts him in his role. Since he used to be a villain there is an open spot and a Legoshi for the first time is to take the stage in this bit part. The Tiger wants to go for it with all his strength since he’s opposite L!

12 - there was a neat overview of the school. Louie goes on stage hurt, completes his performance and collapses. Only Legoshi noticed anything was wrong. He gives a speech to the cast beforehand but in his head it’s really all about himself.

11 - Louis is hurt and trying to hide it. He’s bitter because it’s obvious that the carnivores are stronger. When Legoshi interrupts his whining to himself he lashes out and tries to get L to bite him but L wrenches himself away and says he does want to disappear! Only a herbivore like Louis can make a difference.

10 - the actor kicked out to the production crew tells Legoshi about how the drama club works (they won a prestigious award for promoting togetherness). The club advisor scouts each club member and they all have a darkness in their history... which means Legoshi and Louis do too.

9 - they have to take biology everyday for an hour they sit in a room with others of their species in their natural environment. Legoshi uses that time to think and realizes he’s happy because he wants to see that frisky rabbit again. I guess this is his first crush!

8 - Legoshi is abandoned in the garden by the anteater because of this dwarf rabbit’s reputation, basically she’ll have sex with anything that moves. She gets him to help her move pots for the roses then takes him back to her room and strips down...! She wants to do a large carnivore! Meanwhile L realizes she doesn’t recognize him from the night he almost ate her!

I liked this. A road trip story and I’m disappointed the multiple POV didn’t continue but neat world.
