38 - haha Shoko is so nervous she waits for them for 30 minutes at the station.

37 - haha they are off for summer vacation. Komi wants to invite someone but it’s taken a week to work up the courage, Tadano knows exactly what’s been happening with her but says no over and over and won’t call her. Finally Najimi calls both! 🤣

36 - haha Najimi hates tests so he tries to get out of studying by studying with Tadano and Shoko haha in the library! Where a super vigilant librarian watches them... guess who got 3 strikes? Shoko admits she wanted to play too so they leave to find him. Tadano got the average scores and both Shoko 90s and Najimi 80s+ passed fine!

35 - we start out super funny with conversational blunders you realize lying in bed! Love this and there was one for most of her new friends.

Futuba realizes she has one more thing she can do for a Kou. Tell him her feelings! And asks to meet...

27 - Shoko tells the girls that she found Mr Tanaka’s wallet so delivered it to his home. She realizes now it wasn’t appropriate. She asks him to come to the roof where she tells him why she likes him. And asks him to declare himself. He says he doesn’t have feelings for her. The blonde kid found the roof note so is there hiding. He’s going to pursue her and make her happy!

The bead I got on Mr Tanaka though is that he’s upset people say he hasn’t the guts to have an affair with a student. Haha so Shoko may have her romantic dreams come true sooner rather than later.

I also love Toma tells Kou to choose. I do think he’s playing around with Futuba and I say go Toma! I also appreciated her friend apologizing to Toma’s friend.

26 - Futuba doesn’t even have to answer the principal because Kou comes in the defend his brother. Which to Futuba is a sign he’s not stuck in the past. She realizes she has to get over thinking Kou has feelings for her. Shoko reacts like she’s hurt hearing the scandal but in reality she realized she could have caused the scandal and had no easy explanation.

25 - Futuba decides that Narumi pulls Kou back to the past with the pain of her father’s passing, and that it’s not good for him. So she waits at the station where she transitions to meet her. Narumi admits she was lying so Kou would talk to her. And if Futuba isn’t willing to go to extremes then she should give a Kou up. She wonders if she was there selfishly. Kou confronts her when she avoids him...

24 - She avoids Kou for a while until she’s forced to talk to him for a committee meeting. He brushes her off so she thinks he’s avoiding her. When his brother has car trouble she takes his ice cream to his brother ... who is sick! Hence his curt text. There is also a cute thing going on with her friend and Kikuchi’s friend. So funny!

Oh wow... that was just the start of her killing the messenger. She was really mean, knowing what would hurt an orphan terribly. I understand but wow so mean. She realizes the next day but it’s too late he’s gone and she’s not able to withdraw her words. We learn more about the coming war and the black spice that seems to be the core of it.

Awww Bao finally worked up the nerve to tell her the truth about Tam and him being the imposter lover. How brave! Especially considering it doesn’t look good his family paid him to pretend. What a spoiled brat Tam is too! You can’t really blame her for wanting him to get out...

Lin is a bit delusional but I can totally see why. Her parents want her to be so they can buy her obedience. It sent of warning signals that Tam wouldn’t commit to a date for their wedding. Bao... what a bleeding heart! He is a orphan though which I admit wins me over some. He helps a man dying of bloodpox. And determines to tell the girl of his feelings...

Fascinating the confrontation between Gija and Suwon... and that they don’t feel he’s an enemy. Hak bloodied his fingertips hearing Suwon’s voice. I think he’s perhaps more hurt than Yona... it’s good he has his family around him if he has to face Suwon.

117 - Gija confronts Suwon but can’t seem to move against him. Suwon asks who he is and believes what he says. He declares he doesn’t want to be king but to make their country strong against invaders. He doesn’t need the power of the gods. And leaves unthreatened by the dragons. Meanwhile Yona and Riri come across an invading Sei army. Yona is hurt and Riri captured to be executed!

116 - Sinha sees a Little Hak who helps him. Hak goes to bomb the fort walls. The Wind old man helps Yun. Then rushes off to confront... Hak! Who accidentally blows him up. Then he runs into the other two with him! Gija meanwhile looks for Tetra for info and finds Suwon!

115 - we learn of the politics behind the two forts of Sei. There is a misunderstanding that Riri is to be Suwon’s bride!? Hak is worried there hasn’t been a signal from the other group yet... he goes toward the outer wall of the fort... there he hears Suwon on the other side telling him there is to be an invasion the next day. Suwon also recognizes Hak’s voice...

114 - Hak and Jaeha’s groups don’t find Yona... but they hear rumors and Jaeha and Zeno go look for Yona who they know is alive. Suwon has assembled Geun-tae and Mun-deok and some men from both the earth and wind tribe to help rescue Riri! They’ve arrived!

113 - Tetra is forced to tell her Lord about Riri. She meets Suwon who has heard about the forts too. He plans on moving into Sei. Riri nearly drink the alcohol when a guard throws it 8n her face. Yona looks forger and when Riri notices her gone fights with a guard and kills him. Yona says they must escape!!

112 - Riri and Yona are taken to Sei to do forced labor building a fort. They learn it was the innkeeper who was selling nadai. There alcohol is passed out... laced with nadai! The girls don’t drink it but eventually they will be forced to. The dragons capture some of the gang and Hak presses them for info. They know the stakes and will burn the country to the ground if she’s hurt!

Yakumo hates that he’s preoccupied by T but T knows nothing about him! That’s the last page...

I do see that Takane has changed that’s to Hana. He would never have put himself out like this before. And now his cold behavior really won’t fly... but will grandpa find out who his real arranged marriage partner is?!

63 - Takane is slow about it but he finally pulls his pants down... And Hana sprays Yakumo in the face with pepper spray and pulls them up again! The thugs go to beat them up but he stops them. They can’t cover up their part in this if they hurt them. After the6 go Okamon shows up and Takane collapses. He hurt his shins with how he dropped to the ground from the ladder hahaha.

I loved everything though the page after which says wearing armor makes you stronger but it’s weight can be crushing... it was all he could do to move forward before he met Hana!

62 - OMG! Hana is dragged outside by the thugs because Yakumo can’t get it up to rape her... and Takane is there hanging from a helicopter ladder! With Okamon’s info and the secretary they located her. Takane even kneels and begs like Yakumo wants. But it’s not enough. He wants T to strip and dance?! So Hana says to tell them they broke up already. He says he decides if they’re compatible!

61 - Yakumo threatens Takane so Hana goes with him. Okamon is called by Hana’s mom so goes looking for her and sees her kidnapped and follows. Takane has no idea because his secretary is threatened by thugs. Yakumo calls him then slaps Hana around. We learn he raped a girl who tutored T because it hurt him. Yakumo is why T has had limited friends.

When Yakumo runs into Hana he gets her to open up about Takane because she’s so miserable and sad. She tells him everything about Takane and he realizes... it’s her, not Yukari at all! Oh no...

60 - Takane refuses to engage with Hana anymore. The spark is gone she says. He answers and doesn’t avoid her but... Hiswork suffers and then he goes on a 2 week business trip. Hana meets Yakumo when he “runs” into Yukari. Hana learns Yukari doesn’t feel he’ll maker her happy so she dumps him.

Yakumo moves in on Yukari not realizing she’s not the one Takane likes...

59 - Hiromi doesn’t even like Yakumo either. We learn he’s a cousin and did something to Takane in the past. When he gets home Hana confronts Takane. He admits he wanted to touch her so did. But when she pushes for more he really shuts down and says dream on he’s not interested in her like she is in him. It’s pretty soul crushing from Hana’s face.

Yakumo I mean. 😅
