The theories of Einstein's mind, the things he thought of just while daydreaming, are explained in this portion of my book. The author explains of the contradiction of viewpoints, such as one where if I drop a stone on a train, for the person on the train, it moves straight down. However, to a person on the ground outside the train, it moves in a curve.

Steven Hawking, during the course of the many pages I read over vacation and class, has talked about the validity of certain theories. One of his main talking points was that we have to almost guess at the physical properties that dictate our universe, because of the eccentricity of quantum mechanics. We live in a simulation!

The theories of superpositions and groups of theories are explored.

Stephen Hawking talks about how observations are related to theories. He also shows the hard to accept reality of certain extraordinarily small particles.

Stephen Hawking is exploring the basis of model dependent reality. He brings up the assumptions in science that just because we can't see something, that doesn't mean it does not exist.

Steven Hawking talks about the laws of nature in this portion of the book. he touches on the different theories that used to exist in ancient times about why things are the way they are, and he also talks about the different postulations as to why the rules of nature are how they are.

Stephen Hawking has gone back in time and is talking about the old Philosophers of ancient times, and how some of their ideas were good, but he also points out the occasional ridiculousness of certain ones such as Aristotle, who were quite stubborn.

I'm SO EXCITED to read this Stephen Hawking book.
