It's fine, can definitely see how it inspired Cabaret, but ultimately a little boring so far

So far a bit of a disappointing Terry Pratchett read, still have hope though!

Hate when books inspire me

First time I've read anything in over three weeks, and I gotta say, this was a horrible idea to start just before going to bed. Now I want to cry.

The only salvation is I accidentally read the second book before the first one so I know everything is okay.

I think this book is better read than listened to.

Amazingly horrific yet inspirational story, but god damn if the writing style isn't boring me to tears.

I'm not usually a non-fiction reader, so I have no idea if this is the normal style for this kind of book, but I am Struggling to get through

I like the monkey storyline, but I must admit I'm pretty bored so far
