BRUC: 3 stars. Started off very fun, and promising,, ironically, lagged once the action got going.

REDC: 3 stars. Easily readable, but very straightforward and not very exciting.

CARD: 3 stars. Not much to say about this one. It did feel like a story from one of the earlier collections with its letter from the perp at the end, which is def confirming Doyle was so over writing Holmes at this point.

WIST: 1.5 stars. Gotcha, so "grotesque" is a synonym for "hideously racist," good to know. Regardless of that sub-plot, it was still a terrible mediocre story.
