these kind of books usually rub me the wrong way bc they try so hard to be relatable and funny by like cussing and calling the reader a dumbass just bc they can and it’s “funny”.

i am enjoying the authors message but the delivery of it is getting old

i love the way the author writes :( it’s just so beautiful and poetic

halfway through and i’m still indifferent about this plot, i hope it starts to pick up soon

has mark mentioned how much he doesn’t give give a fuck??? i’m only 14 pages in and i can’t even tell u how many variations of “i don’t give a fuck about anything” i’ve read already

damn i do love when the narrator turns out to be a little unreliable when u least expect it. davie has quite a sinister side to her and honestly…props to her for getting revenge but also it’s now bit her in the ass :/ learning more about her family history was <\3 and there’s just an trauma to process in this book tbh. i’m curious to see where this story goes? dunno where its headed

it really sucks that i was so hooked in the beginning and now i’m just bored and slowly disconnecting from davie :( am i supposed to like jamie??? bc i don’t

it bothers me that the solution to any disagreement in this relationship is to have sex like :| this is not good

ya know i was really enjoying this book up until james came back :/ he doesn’t ever take no for an answer and just kind shoved himself into davie’s life even tho she’s denied him multiple times but she does eventually give in after he either blackmails her or pesters her enough. i’m not sure if things are going to backfire or if i’m genuinely supposed to care about this guy until the end..but i’m over it

i reaaally like this story and the way it is narrated. i’m onto part 3 now tho and i’m thinking something bad will happen 😬

already this autobiography has my heart. couldn’t help but tear up when he said his mind takes flight like a butterfly and then explained all that he would do as a butterfly 😭

i just KNOW that something awful is going to happen and idk if i can get thru it 😭 i’m already way too protective of davidia

i feel like i’m davidia’s friend :( i can’t even tell u what exactly the author does to make u feel this way but i feel like i’m right there with her and i really like it

this book has only been about nick and charlie arguing so far…i was looking for something cute lol

can i just say again, that i LOVE camilla. i’ve had a bad couple days (self-esteem wise) and reading chapters 5-7 were just so comforting to me. i wish i could meet her irl. she’s such a lovely person with such wise thoughts

so far it’s cute :)
