i really hate how for almost this entire book every character is separated from each other :| like yes it’s interesting but i’m tired of these individual storylines

it’s so difficult for me to get thru these kinds of books

damn all of a sudden everything is happening at once,, i need time to process

this current chapter is hitting too close to home rn 😳

WOW this last chapter was too good wth. elias and laia were reunited briefly <3 but also it was so action packed and dare i say scary?? lmao i hope this is where the story starts to pick up

i don’t like that the characters are all separated!!!! like can they pls be together,, it would be sm better

it’s moving a little toooo slow for me atm

i really like the authors discussion about the “good” and “bad” values one has and how it affects their overall satisfaction in life

the imagery alone in this book is *chef’s kiss*

such a good chapter about bi-erasure, femme invisibility and not feeling queer enough to identify as bi! i love where the next few essays are headed ALTHOUGH u can def tell the author is a millennial 😭 the internet/texting language they use is so cringey lol i wish they just stayed away from that

this last chapter was really good and ik im gonna love this next part of the book 😁

the story about lieutenant onoda and who found him was super interesting

laia and elias better officially get together soon 😐 this is the third book…it shouldn’t be dragging out this long lol

the nightbringer is such a cool character,, i hate him…but i like the chapters he’s in

…so this brings into the question ethics during sex. sex can be emotionally complicated and yet there’s an expectation &/or pressure to give answers in the moment…resulting in decreased pleasure especially for women having sex with men (when there’s often an underlying power dynamic). so the author asserts that ethically, consent simply isn’t enough…

okay the author brought up a really fascinating point BUT it was on consent and the ethics of sex that i think deserves more thought.

it about how one navigates consent during sexual activity when they themselves have no idea what they actually want…bc their decisions lie within each interaction. so while consent can be taken back if one goes too far, it might be too late…*

unfortunately the last couple chapters have been boring :/ but i have a good feeling about the new next few

i love how this author plunges right into action in the first couple of chapters
