Issue #5/6 read. Just the explosive climax and resolution to go!!

Read issue #4/6.
Love the ship artwork and the emperor's sentinels are really cool.
I still don't feel convinced by the plot.

Read issue #3/6.
- Mon Calamari and Nar Shaddaa, nice to see some familiar planets.
I am truly enjoying the illustration style. But plot-wise... it feels as non-canonical as the sequel trilogy. :-s

Issue #2/6 read. Thoughts:
-The Alliance fleet around Da Soocha and the Imperial fleet around Byss look awesome.
-I love the aesthetic of the Imperial dungeon ship.
-The ixlls (flying squirrel-like creatures) are super cute.
-Plot wise... errr... Seems like Abrams ripped off a lot of plot the non-cannonical [e]pisode nine from this issue. :-s

I've never read a comic book before, but this is such a foundational text that I thought I should read it just to understand the plot and characters. Some comments and questions:
-"Imperial Planet" is an alternative conceptualization of Coruscant? Or is it Byss?
-Why are there Ewok warriors fighting with the Alliance soldiers there?
-The neks, Cyborrean battle dogs, look really cool.
-I generally liked the artwork.
