I haven't read Biggles for about 55 years and then only a few of the books.

Only one story from this book read so far and I am hooked again ..

They battle two guards at the end of chapter 22.

The guards had dragon steel swords.

Did anyone pick them up to add to the quest for the herb AND dragon steel ...!???

I have to say that Jak and his non fatal defence and attack stance is wearying.

Sometimes good people have to do bad things. When you are fighting for your life, being in the A Team where thousands of rounds are fired but no one dies or even gets a cut finger doesn't wash.

Bought the first four book as an offer from Amazon. So far the first book is looking quite good.

Mr Deaver seems to have caught the essence of Bond.

Remember when Jade Monroe was the "star" of the books. Seems her hunch system packed up joining the Feebs.

Even more frustrating. They have the pero in their grasp but Amber seems to have no clue how to be a detective and check all possibilities....
