As for Sir Hugo. The control freak needed offing with something far more blunt and sports like. A cricket bat would have fitted his upper class position. A cover drive to the head?

This far in I have considered scrapping it. T The start was promising but the constant background filling in that obviously leads up to the murder is just so bl@@dy annoying. So much so that I have lost any feelings that doormat Laura deserves anything more than the misery being laid out before us in letters to Imogen.

Just getting into this. I'm sure I have read a Robin Hobb book before but can't for the life of me remember when and what it was called. Have this on kindle and chose it as it is a first book in a series.

Paul Devall is starting Jupiter's Travels
Just started. I read the paperback version over 35 years ago and it was one of those books that inspired me to travel and tour by motorcycle. Although nowhere near as adventurous as Ted and the hundreds of riders he has also inspired and who have also written of their experiences, I continue to enjoy that feeling of freedom, whether in Spain or at home in the UK. You make your own adventures.

I can't for the life of me see from this point in the story how Alex is going to defeat the evil Chinese emperor and his henchmen or how the blind but aether enhanced Justine will bring peace to the alien nations......

Just starting. I read for fun; a distraction from the grim reality of commuting into London everyday! Some of the reviews for this book seem to be over analysing the science. The keyword is fiction, I.e. Not true or factual Geez! It was free FFS!

On the boat after six days in Ireland. The Henderson does seem bulletproof. What a shame it wasn't built after a cycle manufacturer was do short sighted. Clancy and Storey are charmed by Oirland!

I downloaded this book after reading "in Clancy's Boots" by Geoff Hill. Purely as I was intrigued to see what the story was like on the words of Carl Stearns Clancy. Imagine riding around the world now, let alone 102 years ago!

A very short book. Maybe this was more suited for a blog of the trip? Reading these small books does give me ideas on writing up my trips but maybe not in the printed world. How do you go about creating a Kindle "book"?
