It’s not *badly* written but it’s also so painfully fanservice with incorrect details and still has such a silly premise, but there’s some cool scenes in here :/ that’s it tho so idk, unless the last 20% is amazing I’m not sure if I’ll be buying this book

I mostly get WHY there’s been no character descriptions in this (and it’s not SUPER necessary since we know what these characters look like) but it just feels so weird to have blank characters especially when the original had so many descriptions

Idk we just got the reveal that Sally’s pregnant (which came out of nowhere during this book) and we’re moving on from it so quick… Percy’s 17, take the time to delve deeper into his emotions. It’s a middle grade/YA novel, not a kids book

Honestly I’m over all these references to previous stories. If it’s plot relevant, fine, if not it just feels like more fan service

I would’ve liked if Percy had to solo this part of the quest but hey 🤷🏽‍♀️
