All this talk of being stupid to have sex in the scholomance is making me even more annoyed knowing that they’re going to have sex anyway 🙄 truly is the downfall of this book, I probably would’ve rated it 5 stars the first time around if it weren’t for that dumb moment near the end

The dialogue is so cringey

Aw I wish we hadn’t jumped forward and got to see Philip arguing with his father

Also Amis promised to wound Phillip in return… but they didn’t they just took the shield and left

I love that he still calls her Briar Rose :) I hate in stories when the character finds out their original name and just starts using it as if that’s their true name when they only just found out about it
