I feel like I should be empathizing with the Continent more, but I’m not. They sound like assholes and I don’t really want them to get power back???

I can’t wait until the Attolians realize that Gen has been playing them this whole time. Did everyone forget about him being The Thief??? His attendants thinking he doesn’t know his way around this palace is hilarious to me because the reason he doesn’t have his hand is because of all the sneaking around in that palace he did. It’s just so funny how everyone has forgotten his previous accomplishments.

I’m really loving this book. The politics and war strategy is so interesting. There’s a lot of tension from waiting to see who’s plan comes out on top.
